It goes without saying that science has already deemed unhealthy eating unsuitable. For this reason, many people argue that salesmen should not sell items that are scientifically prohibited. I completely agree with this notion. This essay will discuss why the younger generation tends to consume packaged foods, and how sellers often disregard health considerations in their offerings to support my opinion.
One compelling reason for my stance is that our younger generation, often living away from home, prefers to eat cooked food. This is largely because they reside in hostels with limited facilities to prepare their own meals, and they also lack the time to do so. For example, studies show that young people choose junk food over home-cooked meals. Furthermore, university students frequently consume a large amount of unhealthy beverages when socializing in cafés.
Another significant reason is that companies produce many types of drinks that are unhealthy, yet there is no regulation to ensure the safety and purity of food products. As a result, these beverages and other products are mass-produced, and people purchase them without understanding the health risks they pose. For instance, Coca-Cola is manufactured in large quantities in broad daylight. This example clearly illustrates the need for strict action to ban unhealthy foods.
In conclusion, these are the reasons why I agree with this perspective. When the government imposes heavy fines on shopkeepers, they will be less inclined to sell items that are hazardous to people’s health.
