Band 6+: Single-use products remain widely used today. What problems does this cause? What are some possible solutions?

In the present era, disposable products are becoming simple everywhere in day to day life. The problem of one time usage of the products can damage the environment and be harmful for animals. A possible solution is replacing the plastic into eco-friendly materials which can not harm the environment.

One problem that creates from one time use products is damage to the habitat in the surrounding area. Everywhere plastic is used more as a single use product which can essay to use and is lightweight. For instance, the products like, plastic bottles, soft drink glass, cutlery, bags and food wrappers. People use these products for instance shopping and food packing. In addition, these products cost less compared to glass, wood and metal. Moreover, using more plastic can create a lot of problems and damage to health, Plastic takes more time to decompose and also damages the planet.

One possible solution, to avoid these types of products, is to use reusable products instead of plastic. In place of plastic, bamboo can be used for the cutlery, plates and glass for the water and soft drinks. For example, using eco-friendly materials can not harm nature and is better for people’s lives. In addition, the Government needs to take action on the materials that are being used in the market which are harming the biosphere. Furthermore, restaurants and food stalls, avoiding plastic and bringing sustainable materials which can protect the natural world is more important these days.However, reducing the plastic in the present generation can have more benefits in the environment.

In conclusion, using more plastic can affect the species and nature, environmental pollution especially in oceans. Replacing the plastic into reusable materials can be beneficial to people’s health. Implementing Eco-friendly materials into the market can get good results in nature.
