As per few individuals technology driven lifestyle has made our lives more convoluted and it would be wiser to adopt a simpler life.I completely disagree with the aforementioned notion, the relevant arguments in favour of which have been elucidated in succeeding body paragraphs.
First and foremost, technology makes life simpler and even the most complicated tasks can be accomplished with just one click. Technology intensive gadgets and devices are used with ease by people ranging from children to senior citizens for daily activities from setting an alarm, sending official e-mails, shopping online, making payments, attending lectures, to name a few. Unlike older times, these modern day advancements save time and effort of individuals, wherein they can sit at their homes and execute tasks rather than stepping outside and travelling massive distances.
Secondly, technology maintains connections and relationships with families and friends which would not have been possible in past eras. For instance, a person sitting in any corner of the world can easily interact face-to-face with anyone through the mechanism of video conferencing. Thus, the stigma surrounded with technology being a curse for sustaining healthy relationships is rather pointless.
Apart from this, automation has opened several avenues for employment for people. To cite an example, a completely novel profession of digital marketing has emerged owing to which vast majority has realised it’s value and adopted it as a career. Therefore, technology is an ever evolving phenomenon which can lead to innumerable opportunities for masses.
To encapsulate, it is apparent from the above discussion that technology provides a fruitful platform for not only fulfilling daily tasks and but also adding value to human relationships, so it is a boon for the society.
