In modern society, there is an ongoing debate about what schools should focus on. Some people believe that educational institutions should primarily teach practical skills, while others are convinced that traditional academics subjects are more important.
On the one hand supporters of practice-oriented education argue learning centre must preparing the students for ordinary life. These competencies teamwork and use modern technologies can be useful for everyone on daily life. Many students know theories well but they cannot use it in practice, which makes difficult for them to find a good job.
On the other hand some people think that academic subjects for example math, literature, history and science have essential meanings. These subjects develop thinking and logic and help to understand the world better. Academic knowledge creates a strong foundation for further education and professional growth.
In my opinion schools should be combine both approaches. Academic skills are important for developing the mind, while practical abilities can help to use knowledge in real life. Therefore, the best option is a balance between theory and practice.
