In today’s society, some businesses utilise sports fields as a sponsor for advertising. Some people believe that the sports industry benefits from this approach, while others hold the opposite viewpoint. Nevertheless, I agree with those who believe that the sports industry takes advantage of this opportunity. This essay will argue both perspectives.
The first group of individuals are convinced that advertising with the assistance of the sports industry is not as beneficial as it is believed. This perspective largely originates from the assumption that sports are more exposed to the advantages. For example, when popular markets and businesses like “Nike” shoot different kinds of videos by using eye-catching images and professional athletes, it is vividly evident that they are more likely to earn a reputation and money than other businesses. Following this, viewers, especially those who are passionate about this industry, become more drawn to take steps towards the sports subject, which is why some state that it comes with advantages, but for the sports industry.
On the other hand, others believe this kind of advertisement results in certain drawbacks. This belief stems from the idea that if sports industry continues to participate in advertising, it will drift away from its original concept and will depend on finance rather than pleasure. In football, for example, clubs and teams are becoming openly dependent on advertising for money. As a result, their uniforms are filled with various companies and businesses, which is why people think it leads to several disadvantages, particularly for fans.
To conclude, although there are diverge arguments on whether sports sponsorship is beneficial or not, I personally confirm the belief that is beneficial for the sports industry.
