Nowadays, some children do sports to become a professional sports player while some just do sports for fun or just as a hobby. In my opinion, this trend is positive as everyone has their own preferences. Whether or not children who take sports seriously is positive is a matter of debate. In my opinion, children who take sports just for fun or to keep fit is are important.
One might argue that engaging in sports to become a professional is much better than doing it just for enjoyment. This is because attending sports courses is one of the best ways to improve social interaction. For example, young athletes who attend regular courses must learn to balance schoolwork with training. This teaches them to be more responsible. Also, it gives them chance to start their careers doing something they love to.
However, it is also important to recognize the value of playing sports for fun. Every child has their own interests one might not want to follow strict training rules. When children play sports in their leisure time this will help them to keep fit as well to be more healthy. For instance, when they do sports this will boost their mood, reduce stress and even improve sleep quality. This balance between serious training and interests and ability can benefit from sports.
To sum up, I personally believe that this trend of children taking sports as a hobby is a positive development as not every child wants to become a sports player or a build career.
