In some countries governments put an age limit, when people can legally drink, while others think that less strict regulations are better solution. This essay will discuss both sides of the debate. I firmly agree with the former, alcohol should not be sold to minors.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why some people people suppose that the authority should not push laws on alcohol. Teenagers can be explained differently about the harmfulness of illegal substances. For instance, there are ways to educate young people who are not reached 18 such as using educational videos or learning from school. Although, sometimes students neglect the fact that alcohol has bad impact to their health. Therefore, nowadays the crime rate of drinking is growing steadily.
On the other hand, impunity prompts children to break rules. In order to struggle with early addiction of teenagers, the state must tighen control over them. For instance, in Korea if a minors is caught by consuming drinks such as bear in night club, to prison will be sent not only them, but also their parents. Similarly, young children and adults may understand the full seriousness of situation.
To conclude, teenagers usually do not care about simple explanation about the prohibition. It is evidence that the law must punish disobedience.
