In this contemporary epoch, many educationalists believe that visiting international exchange could have numerous merits on youngsters at school. Nevertheless, some drawbacks can effect the pupils. In my perspective, the advantages outweighs the demerits.
On the one hand, people who opposes the prior view on account of several reasons. Firstly, for a student from a lower economic background, higher education or a journey to another nation will create financial constraints. This will negatively affect their current academics and they will be forced to work harder to achieve their goals. Secondly, individuals will struggle to adapt the situations of another nation. Apparently, a cultural shock will be the output of this development. This may affect them both mentally and physically.
On the other hand, international journey of teenagers are highly beneficial for them in numerous ways. To begin with, youth will get more world exposure through this. Gradually, they will became more confident to face real life challenges and develop their problem solving skills. Furthermore, students could create multinational peer groups, which can guide them to success. In addition, these friends circle would improve their communication skills in multiple languages.
To concur with the latter view point, pupils can gain knowledge from developed countries and when they come back to their homeland, they will implement these ideas for the nation’s development. For instance, considerable number of successful persons in India has done their education in a developed country and applied their knowledge for the good of India.
To encapsulate, although visiting exotic places have fewer disadvantages on teenagers, overall it is a positive development as it enhances the cultural appreciation and helps in moulding a better personality of pupils.
