Some people argue that principal should earn higher salaries than average workers. I strongly agreed with this statement due to their talents and experience and the market competition.
To begin with, senior managers hold significant responsibility. Being a senior is no walk in the park. They are responsible for the overall direction and success of a company. Compared to average employees, they will be blamed if some mistakes found while they are doing a presentation in front of leaders and clients. Meanwhile, they will take a risk and use their ability to make strategic decisions which impact the companies performance in a long-term. Afterwards, they might fell deep pressure from their bosses while ordinaries are only can do simple works that everything what they are telling to do. For instance, average workers are unable to make an important decision when it comes to use critical thinking.
However, there is a huge demand for professional managers in a labor market. Many companies need experienced managers and to attract them, they offer well-paid wage and compensation money like extra bonuses. That is to say, they will do everything to win in a competitive labor market. As a consequence, the candidate’s market values are increasing significantly and they will choose the company who has a willing to pay agreed and steady income.
In conclusion, I totally agree that the senior managers should paid higher than ordinary members. It is due to fact that they are more talented and their market value is intense.
