In today’s world, electric cars can be seen more often in the streets than ever before. Once it seemed impossible nonetheless it is becoming more common day by day due to advancements of the technology. Furthermore, some governments incent the usage of electric cars due to their harmless impact on the air compared to other fuel resources. In this essay, I will be examining the benefits and the drawbacks of electric cars.
On the one hand, cars powered by electric are the safest ones for the environment. Most of the fuels which are being consumed by vehicles are a threat to the future of planet Earth except electric. Electric cars may become handy for the sake of the next generations thanks to its little to none effect on the environment. Consequently, that is main reason why some governments try to increase the usage of electric cars.
On the other hand, there are some cheaper and easier to get fuels than electric. For instance, gasoline is the most used fuel for vehicles whereas it is also the one that contributes the most to air pollution. Gasoline’s popularity comes from its convenience to find and lower price tag compared to other sources of fuel which make gasoline a perfect choice as fuel.
But in the end, there are some crucial benefits and drawbacks of electric cars. Not everyone can afford it. From my perspective, individuals ought to choose fuel for their vehicle based on their economic status. Someone who may barely afford a car is not going to care about its impact to the environment.
