Can money actually buy us happiness?! While some people consider salary as the most essential factor of a job, I believe that job satisfaction depends not only upon an amount of money you make, but also includes intrinsic factors, likewise company culture, employee morale and what not.
First, it is without doubt true, that money is the crucial reason for looking after a job. People work for their needs to be met, to pay rent and live quality life. Subsequently, a job has to promise an employee a reasonable income. If the currency a worker earns is not commensurate with their experience and knowledge, motivation disappears and the person resigns, as it could be expected. Besides, it should be mentioned, that nowadays the successful companies take it into consideration whether a worker knows their own value and worth, because they need the confident and ambitious workforces.
However, as already mentioned people tend to live quality life, thereby health and happiness is the vital part of it. Obviously, money can not guarantee them, what makes an adequate work environment and conditions indispensable. It is scientifically proven, that emotional incentives have significantly better impact than perks or other material benefits. In my opinion, volunteering explains it clearly enough. That is an activity that humans do due to their emotions and feelings, because it is right to do, and they are participating without any expectations in return. Indeed, organizational culture and morale are irreplaceable for job enjoyment.
To conclude, not only remuneration is essential, but also the environment and other factors have a great impact on people’s lives. As I see it, it is totally worth it to choose a workplace where there is peaceful and friendly atmosphere rather than earning endless return.
