In this day and age ,it is acknowledged that children’s choice of friends and life partners should be decided by their parents ,whereas some others argue that they should be free to make these decision independently. This essay will discuss deeply into each view before offering personal perspective.
On the one hand ,it is undeniable that parents hold a powerful impact on children’s choice of friends and life partners. First and foremost ,parents have more experience than their children . Due to their enough knowledge and experience, they can help their chilren avoid some toxic relationships .For example ,parents can help students choose the right mate by by judging his/her appearance and internal personality which their children can not notice, ensuring their children’s happiness in the future. Alternatively,parents can save their children from some toxic friendships which threaten their children’s satety such as bulying at school.
On the other hand ,opponents of this view point out that students should be at liberty to make their personal decision for their choice of friends and mates. First of all,this help children become more indendently and confident. Without parents interfere, children can experienced the teen’s love or friendship by themselves. Consequently,they can enrich their emotion and develop critical thnking. Moreover ,children can also build a strong relationship and mates as friendship and love deprive from connection of both sides. For example ,their children can connect much with their friends due to their similar hobbits or favourites .Also, they will strenghthen the bone with their mate due to faithful love.
Taking everyting into consideration, I am of opinion that children should decide their choice of friends and life partners independently . However, they also should take their parents’advice
