Nowadays, some schools are using modern technologies such as computers, tablets, and the Internet as teaching materials for students’ education. While some people say that using technologies is more vital when teaching children, others take the view that schools and teachers play a key role in children’s education. This essay will agree that teaching children with schools and teachers is essential to their education.

On one side of the argument, there are people who hold the opinion that teaching children by using advanced technologies can develop the academic performance of students. The most compelling reason for believing that is that a variety of educational resources can be accessed on the Internet by using computers. As a result of that, students can also learn additional subjects depending on their interests. Furthermore, students can not only find information but also acquire the latest materials for their studies on the Internet. As students can search any required information for their studies on the Internet, that can help students to achieve better academic performance in their education.

Despite the above arguments, I am of the view that teaching children in school with teachers is more effective for their educational performance. Indeed, one reason why I take this position is that technology is no better than humans. While technology can provide numerous resources for information, humans can teach important skills for students’ personalities such as communication, cooperation, creativity, and morality. Thus, only teachers can enhance not only the academic performance but also the personality of their students. Another reason is that schools are the best place for education as students can not only learn from teachers but also learn from other students.

In conclusion, while both views are commonly held in society, I believe that schools are the most effective place for education. It is important to know that education is not just to develop study skills by technology but also to learn good moral and personality skills. Given this situation, it is recommended that although technology is very useful for education, students need education to control their dependence on technology by studying at school.
