Majority of people think that it is certainly better for the government to have access to citizen’s phone call records and texting messages for the safety of the country. However, others disagree, as they believe this information should be private and unavailable to anyone except them.
On the one hand, wide range of reasons why people believe that government should spy the suspicious communications just in case of danger they can cause to the people of the country. According to their perspective, a lot of intruders are free, and they are not even being tracked. That is why it is definitely superior to keep a track on them, as they might consciously or unconsciously cause harm to the society.
On the other hand, a huge number of people deem that texting messages and calls need to be strictly kept private, due to personal reasons. I personally think this view is more accurate than the first one, the reason is that only those who break the chatting policies should be tracked down, allowing other users feel safe from anybody reading their private messages.
In conclusion, considering both of the people’s perspectives, I would argue that keeping people’s private chats would be the best option of avoiding chaos amongst people.
