In this modern time,the issue of environmental problems has increased a lot; therefore, some think that in the forthcoming years we will have to leave planet Earth because it will become uninhabitable for humans. I concur with this notion that, in the future, perhaps we will have to leave our planet. In this essay,I will examine the whole argument and give relevant reasons behind my opinion.
Generally speaking,there are a number of reasons why people believe that we have to relocate to a new planet. Firstly,the staple cause of this thinking is the gradual increase in pollution. Presently, we are facing pollution problems all over the world, such as air pollution and water pollution. Therefore,we may be unable to stop this from happening, and the earth’s water and air will be toxic, so we cannot survive on this planet. For instance,a survey in 2020 showed that pollution problems have escalated by 25% in recent years compared to the past.
Moreover,another great cause that might be the reason for our planet shifting is global warming. This phenomenon has caused a lot of considerable problems on planet Earth. Firstly, the earth is now becoming hotter and hotter day by day, which is out of the control of human being.Scientists are looking for solutions,but unfortunately, they are not able to find any effective solutions. Hence,perhaps we have no choice; we have to explore a new planet that will be inhabitable for humans.
In my opinion, this issue has caused many controversial arguments; thus, the government is funding a new space program so that we can find a new livable planet. I think this is the best decision for this contemporary moment.
In conclusion,it must be said that these environmental problems have become a very complex issue with no easy solution. However, if the government invests in a space program, it might be possible to find a better place to live on another planet.
