Nowadays, with the improvement of social society. There still remains a controversial topic about some people think that it is a good idea that older people continue to work if they can do. But in my view, I partly agree with that opinion.
First of all, recently, making money has become the most difficult problem for each family. And every member who is older than 25 years old has to go outside and make money to support their own lives. Also, they must take responsibility to support their own family. It will cause senior citizens to do whatever they want. Also, thanks to their old age, it will be a great support for them to do their job. They will have more experience of what they do and it will be more easily than the younger do. They may not have adapted to the new work recently but their own experience will help them to solve some difficult problems that need a lot of experience. Moreover, senior citizens can find the interesting in their twilight light lives. Most old person nowadays find that they are so bored with their lives and continuing working is the best way for them to make their own lives more and more interesting. It is clear to see that, numerous senior citizens in the big city find that they have to spend their time at home. They do not have any person of the same age and it will cause their time to be wasted. Thanks to the continuing work, senior citizens can be able to help their children bring up their children, or they can do volunteer work.
On the other hand, the tendency of retired people to continue to do their jobs will lead to harmful consequences. First of all, they will pose heavy burdens for healthcare systems. It is clear to see that, their health becomes weaker and weaker and they will not be able to meet the demands of work. The more they work, the more tired they feel. It will lead to the result that, their own salary does not pay enough money to take care of their health problems. Moreover, it is really difficult for young people who are in the labor force to find a job because the working market is becoming more and more competitive. There is a truth that, the more older you get, the more experiences you gain. If the older people who are more than 20 -years old experience in work keep doing their jobs. It will be a big challenge for the younger ones, who have just graduated from university and have no experience.
In conclusion, this outstanding phenomenon mentioned above has outlined several opposite opinions surrounding this issue. From my perspective, I firmly believe that letting the elderly work is not a good idea
