Some people find learning a foreign language in their homeland more convenient in comparison to traveling abroad. Traveling abroad is a practical way to learn daily phrases by being among native speakers . On the other hand ,it might be challenging grammatically due to not being explained in their mother tongue .
In my perspective, learning a new language by traveling abroad ,offer a faster process of learning because of the pressure of acquiring new words to communicate with native speakers. Learning daily conversation sentences can be easily learned by interacting with locals and walking around city.However, learning a foreign language by traveling would present some challenges in grammatical rules and would not contribute to comprehensive learning.
Learning a foreign language in one’s own country would be an ideal approach for a comprehensive understating of the instructions and grammatical rules of the foreign language, due to availability of one’s mother tongue explanations.In my opinion, having the opportunity to ask question about the structure without having language barriers in one’s own country, is an important part of acquiring a new skill.
In conclusion, acquiring a new language in a foreign country is primarily useful for conversional vocabulary and daily-use phrases rather than comprehensive understanding of a languages instruction.Learning a new language in one’s own country would fulfill the grammatical clarification due to one’s mother tongue explanation. In my view, the best approach to acquire a foreign language depends on one’s intentions.Some people learn a new language for a casual real-life conversation , others acquire it for academical purposes or work.Generally, developing a linguistic skill in one’s own language would be more effective .
