Shelter is one of the necessary means of human survival. It is clear that throughout history, people have different preferences for household locations. Whether the reason might be geologically, or socially. Which is still present in modern times as a dilemma between two separate housing opinions has been brought up. One side being pro suburbs, while the other being pro rurals.
Living in each environment, rural or suburban. Both have their ups and downs. Rural towns or remote areas have a much more peaceful and nature-friendly surrounding. The cost for living in these towns are also significantly lower than in suburbs. Researchers have found that most individuals living in these areas tend to have better mental and physical health. Whilst in metropolitan cities, numerous people tend to have stress issues, mental disorders, and more frequent physical recessions due to city life being overly demanding on occupations and earning money to survive. However, due to the area being “rural”, opportunities for better jobs are lower than in huge cities. Furthermore, establishing connections and achieving a higher education are also much more common in larger cities, which can provide a secure future.
Which is why I prefer capital cities such as Bangkok as my first choice for real estate. In addition to the aspects above, is that there’s much more stores, tourist attractions, and places to rendezvous with accomplices during weekends or times when I’m not busy. It is more advantageous for me, as a high school student. But it might be different for others. In my case, the pros of metropolitan cities outweighed its cons.
