We have been granted limited on this earth so acquiring the best course of action would be time well spent. Some argue that youth should be enjoyed, it should be dedicated to travelling, adventures and exploring the world. On the other hand, some advocate working rigorously while you are young to harvest the benefits when you become of age.
Youth is wonderful and unrepeatable. While you are young, your body is the most capable it will ever be, your mind has the most capacity to learn and to be knowledgeable, you are the freest you will ever be in your entire life with the least obligations and responsibilities. It is a viable action to take advantage of all your capabilities and skills to gather as much information and knowledge as possible. Most acclaimed athletes, artists, actors and everyone else which is at the apex of their profession have started young so we can conclude that spending your youth learning and working diligently would yield exponential results in your adulthood and assist you to fulfill your potential.
On the contrary, a considerable amount of society values experiences and fun over career and work. They advocate for having fun and enjoying your youth while you can. These people tend to be more impulsive and less calculated in their day-to-day life. They spend as much time possible following their hobbies, spending time with their loved ones, traveling and having fun. Although this group of people don’t own the penthouses and fancy cars, but they are happy to live an average life and enjoying their every day rather than working to possess as much money possible. They don’t value materialistic object as much.
Personally, I’m part of neither of the groups. I would rather not be one-dimensional in my life. Despite studying diligently, I always make time for my hobbies and my loved one. Even though I work hard on my career, I cherish the moments I spend with my family and friends. In my opinion everyone should strive to reach a balance in their life.
