In today’s world, many argue that spending less time with family and working extra will help solve financial problems, while others believe spending time with loved ones is more important than working extra hours. In my opinion, spending time with family is essential because money cannot buy happiness.

On the one hand, citizens prefer to work overtime rather than spending time with their family since it helps earn more money. As a result, the money can help solve family’s financial conditions. For example, in India household, parents tend to work overtime rather than spending time with family because they believe money is important for living since it helps pay the bills of the house. Furthermore, individuals believe that without money survival is hard in the modern world. Consequently, individuals prefer to work more than spend time with family.

On the other hand, some people consider that family is more important than work because money is not equivalent to family. For instance, an individual was to busy at working at another city and rarely visited his parents. As a result, he did not even notice when his parents passed away. At the end, he only had a few memories with his family and regretted the choice he made of working extra. Even though he worked hard for his family, in the end, the money was of no use.

In conclusion, although, it is widely believed that working extra hours and not giving time to family can help solve financial problems, I believe that having quality time with family is more significant than money because loved ones cannot stay forever.
