It is debated that nurses should be exempt from their tuition fees for nursing degrees. To a certain extent, I admit that people should pay tuition fees for their education. However, I also believe that they should be exempt from their fees.
On the one hand, I admit that nurse students should pay tuition fees, because they can learn more important information about human health. Therefore, they earn a lot of money. Secondly, nursing speciality is found in prestigious universities, which are located in city centers. Additionally, the government’s budget is not only for education, but also for other critical things like the security of the country. Therefore, if the nursing tuition fee is fully free, it can bring some problems to the government’s budget. An extra reason is that alternative support already exists.For example, there are supports such as scholarships and student loans. If students do not want to pay an extra charge for tuition, they can earn a scholarship and they provide their payment on their own.
On the other hand, I also believe that nursing degrees should be free for students because nurses’ work is very significant for society. Nurses are vital for public health. Therefore, their work hours are more than other professions. Another reason is to encourage people to do this job. If tuition fees are removed from this job, more students want to educate themselves in this profession. Therefore, the number of nurses will increase and the population can easily find solutions to their health problems.
In conclusion, although people think that nursing students should pay an education fee, I strongly believe that they should be exempted from education fees.
