Band 5+: Some people believe that owning a home is more important than renting one. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of owning a home compared to renting.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

It is often argued that renting a home is better than buying one, while others believe that owning a home is a better option. Although both views have thei mertis, I believe that buying a home is the best option. This essay will discuss both perspectives before explaining why I support this view.

On the other hand, some people argue that living in rented accommodation is better than buying a home because lower starting costs. In other words, reinting a home usually requairs lower intial costs than buying one. Furthermore, easier to move for work or study. When renting gives people more flexibility for work or study, which can make their life easier. For example, a student can move to another city for university without having to sell a house.

On the other hand, others believe that purchasing a home is the most advantages option, I agree with this view because monthly loan payments lead towards home ownership, That is to say, monthly mortage payments help people build towards home ownership. Another reason to support this view is that a more stable place for the family to live in. This is because buying a home provides great stability for families. For instance, families do not have to worry about their londlord asking them to live.

To sum up, although people have different views about buying and renting home, I believe that owing a home is better option because security and long term stability.
