When people struggle to meet their basic needs due to financial difficulties, planning for long-term goals may become harder. As a result, individuals´ quality of life may be negatively affected by financial concerns and wider society may suffer from greater social inequality. To elaborate further, the more pressure people burden to meet their goals, the less productive they become and the more financial challenges occur in society. A survey conducted in Africa shows considerably low levels of job satisfction among workers who hardly can meet their basic needs.
On the other hand, governments should also be responsible for taking care of the environment equally. The nature people live around plays a crucial role in improving air quality, reducing the effects of global warming and providing great comfort and and joy for overall biodiversity. Beyond economic benefits , people still need to experience the beauty of clean coastal areas, organized tree-lined avenues and unspoilt natural parks filled with lush trees, where are frequently protected and well-preseved from pollution and deforestation. Therefore, protecting the environment needs to be completely prioritized by governments to ensure remaining useful for future generations.
