To begin with, regular practice assists in strengthening understanding of the specific topic. This implies that absence of frequent exercising can lead to reduction of concentration on one topic and this can give rise to misunderstanding the materials. For instance, at NIS school we always do math homework and at the end of the week, we summarise our results and do student score statistics. This method of studying helps to know your real score and make correction work. Moreover, it enhances educational skills.
On the other hand, it is essential to know efficiently using knowledge in the real world. In other words, regular exercise is not only about understanding the topic better, it is also about applying your skills at the right time. For example,a student who regularly practices medical problems not only gains a deeper understanding causes of diseases but also becomes better at solving real life issues, such as helping sick people. Thus, there is a big difference between knowing all the materials and applying your skills in real world problems.
To conclude, i believe that schools should not eliminate homework because regular exercise enhances knowledge of students and offers opportunities to use it in real life issues.
