There is no doubt that school uniforms make schools appear more organized. The question is does the school uniform restrict students’ individuality and their way of expressing themself? In this essay, I am going to express my opinion and reasons.
In terms of disadvantages of uniform, the students may feel pressure to maintain their uniform and make sure that it is not damaged in any way. Moreover, they may not like the colors or the way it fit them that could hurt their feeling especially if they are teenagers.
However, I believe there are more advantages of school uniform such as, not all parents can afford to buy new clothes so school uniform can take away that pressure and make them focus on the necessity. Moreover, school uniforms can make all students feel the same and there is no difference between them in the money aspect. Students can express them self in many different ways, for example, speaking up about how they feel can help them mentally and how they interact with each other can help them socially. Also, school uniforms will make the school look better and more organized. Furthermore, student some time tend to wear revealing clothes that are not good or suit their ages, so school uniform can solve this problem.
In conclusion, it is evident that uniforms will not restrict individuality and the way students express them self. Also, it could help students feel equal and focus more on their studies instead of what they wear.
