In the contemporary era, physical ability is assumed to be a factor that contributes to success in sports. However, a group of individuals argue that multiple factors play a crucial role in succeeding in sports.
On the one hand, having strong physical capabilities is advantageous for sports players. To elaborate further, people would attain numerous accomplishment in sports if they had the capability of performing fluidly during the match. Not only can they perform better, but also they will be more confident about themselves. Therefore, they will maintain high morale and an increased likelihood of winning the game. For example, Doan Van Hau, who is a football player from the national Vietnamese football team, was made to attend a check-up after a competition in 2019 as he was doubted that he abused drugs to maintain his physical health. However, his drug test result was negative and his good health condition facilitates him to compete well and achieve many prizes.
On the other hand, it cannot be overlooked that having good physical ability is advantageous for success in sports. However, they would not be able to achieve their goal if they did not possess requisite skills which are needed in sports. Furthermore, self-discipline is one of the essential skills that sports players need in their training period as they can develop themselves to catch up with their rivals. Moreover, maintaining strict self-discipline during training not only aids them in being more organized, but also boosts their confidence through acquired skills. Therefore, they can be able to accomplish and succeed in many sports by their appropriate skills.
In conclusion, I am of the opinion that success in sports is contributed by many factors, such as essential skills learned from the training period.
