It is argued that physical powers are a key factor leading to the success in sports. While some people contend that there are many other factors which partly contribute to be successful in sport. This essay will elaborate on both views before any conclusions are reached.
On the one hand, physical strength plays a vital role in sports. People who are born with inherent dominant physical strength combining with traning always produce consistently outstanding results and also have the higher rate of emerging victorious on sports in comparison to the normal. For example, Track and field athletes with incredible muscle strength and tough stamina can easily surpass their competitors.
On the other hand, not only muscle and robustness, there are several aspects which contribute to the sport achievements. Firstly, mental toughness can be considered a soul of athletes. It is noteworthy that sport participants who have sustainable mentality can get over themselves day by day and also accomplish many victories in sport. This can be exemplified by a Vietnamese footballer named Van Toan. He has suffered from serious leg injury for 1 year, which prevented him from many important tournaments. But after he was completely healed, he turned back to his football career and started to practice. As a result, he has become a key player and scored the most points in each match. Furthermore, one important point that makes sport individuals get sport accomplishments is the mastery of technique. It is apparent that in football, some excellent players, such as Messi, or Ronaldo outperforms many other players by their adept skills. Therefore, to be successful in sport, athletes need to train and master their techniques before taking part in any tournaments.
In conclusion, I totally support the second opinion because playing sport is not about physical powers, but it also includes techniques, intelligence, or creativity. Learning to combine many factors at the same time not only brings to sport players several outstanding outcomes, but also prove that players are better every single day in their domain.
