Many people have different opinions about this topic. Some care about the mental health and comfort of their children, which could cause them to force them into life styles they’re unwilling or aren’t comfortable with.
Socializing is important for humans, while others think it would be considered optional, i disagree with that, humans need to have a social aspect in their life, even if minor. While studying is also important for college applications and general knowledge, work isn’t dependant on it.
Studying is overrated in importance for children, more activites and conversing should be listed higher. In job applications, they focus more on your skills and social part depending on the job, but in most cases they do. You wont find someone who has a 5 GPA score while being very introverted and barely any skills, like leading for example. I think children should be more prone to leaving outside, especially with this generation and technological advanced life style. Many teenagers prefer to stay home then go outside now. They can simply just make friends online, but what they dont know is that talking behind a screen is way way different than holding a real life conversation, it’s not as easy as they think.
I firmly believe parents should encourge their children to open up more to the outside world, there are many fun things behind the screens in the comfort of their homes. It pains me to see the fun places that provide activites for children empty, trampoline places, parks and many more.
