Band 4+: Some people believe that the best way to provide a happier society is to ensure that there are only small differences between the richest and poorest members. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

A lot of people nowadays thinks that in order to create more contented society,human beings shall have less financial differences,so no one could be discriminated.In this essay,I shall completely disagree with the given statement,share my opinion and give some examples.

To begin with,always having approximately equal income for every member of society can be seen good idea.There is more chances for more individuals to be happier because no more discrimination or capitalism will be.But if we think about it more deep,it is clear that then,further development of humanity will be slower because people would have less motivation to grow,for the reason of that they will not have any advantages from working harder than they now.Their salary won’t change.For example,

Furthermore,we all know one huge example: USSR.Stalin was convinced that this kind of society will succeed,that all of us are equal.But this type of society cannot last long,it has a lot of weak sides and hard to control.Individuals wants to be rewarded,if they are working by heart and that is natural.

In conclusion,I am tottaly convinced that this statement cannot be fitted in societies of modern world.Every citizen should have chance to succeed and get paid for this well.
