It is said that every member of immediate family take part in educating and raising children rather than only parents themselves. In my opinion, involving others in children’s raise is a reasonable idea.
Firstly, grandparents can contribute great help with mental education. This is because grandparents are usually pretty experienced and have gone through enough that makes them know more of history and let them teach about good manners. Because of this and because most parents know that they may not be able to cope with mental nurturing, Uzbek parents usually send their children to their grandparents to countrysides, so that they can become better mannered while having time with elderly individuals. Consequently, it is likely to make the children more educated and mannered after which they may start looking at their life differently and start to show respect to others, making their parent proud.
Secondly, immediate family members also can help physically. In most family cases, father is seen as the only breadwinner and he usually leaves house to work pretty early, so mother is left alone without support. Most mothers usually cannot cope with looking after their children due to an enormous number of other tasks in their life like education or household chores. In this case, grandmother or grandfather may be asked to have the back of mothers and look after children, like feeding them or lulling the children. Otherwise, mothers may suffer from mental burn out and sometimes go crazy due to chaos, which may lead to conflicts between caregivers.
To conclude, I agree that the help of immediate family members is essential in nurturing children both physically and psychologically in order to make them more mentally educated and remove pressure from their caregivers.
