It is often argued that students can receive a university education, regardless of their financial situation or university degree, whether bachelor’s or master’s. l completlely agree with this statement because education is the future of a nation and those from disadvantaged from financial backgrounds may also have great potential.
One of the main reason why l support this view is that a nation cannot thrive without education. Young people should learn about new scientific discoveries and research for future invetions and innovations. Thus, universities are the best place to support individuals, who wants to improve their future career and to contribute to theirs country. At this time, students who do not have enough financial resources should also benefit from it. For example, there is no education fee in Finland regardless of nation, religion and language.
Second reason is that some students have great potential to contribute to their country, but they don’t have a enough financial situation to continue their universtiy education. And l firmly believe that if these students have the great opportunity to attend university, it will be beneficial for the country’s future. For instance, student from a low-income family may have great IT skills but cannot afford university fees. If students recieves free education,they could become succesful IT engineer at in their own country.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that if universities offer free education to everyone, students from low-income families will have more opportunities to succeed and contribute to their country’s development.
