Sometimes natural disasters, like huge earthquakes, volcanoes, or asteroid falls, can make our planet dangerous and can lead to the destruction of everything on Earth. That is why finding another planet to live on is essential, since humans can move if something terrible happens on Earth. Moreover, to improve their knowledge, scientists search for life on other planets. They send satellites that help them collect information, which can take pictures of the surface, measure the temperature, and check whether there is oxygen.
Exploring space opens up new opportunities, but we should first focus on solving problems on Earth. Lack of access to healthcare is one of the main problems people face today. Many people suffer from serious illnesses and cannot get medical help because they do not have enough money. This problem could be solved by using the national budget to provide access to healthcare for everyone. Pollution on Earth is another serious problem that people struggle with, and it can lead to various health issues, such as heart problems and allergies. Continuing space exploration can make this problem worse by increasing environmental pollution even further, which negatively impacts people’s health.
In my opinion, since we live on Earth, it’s better to spend money on solving problems first. Space exploration can require huge amounts of money just to study something. Although it can be useful, it is not as important as helping people who are in worse conditions and protecting the environment.
