Many individuals believe that youngstres must be allowed to make a choice for their future occupation themselve, whilst other people say that they shold consider the realities to make a decision. In my opinion, by considering their own interests they put in more effort and have a greater chance of succeding. On the other hand, it may be more reasonable to look at job demands of their society and the circle of people with whom they are surrended.
When one is interested in his or her job, there is a greater chance for them to not give up on their career during unexpected predicaments that might happen along the way. The more passion they have, the more time and effort they are likely to put in. A study conducted in Iran showed that medical students who were eager to become a doctor from a young age were more likely to pursue higher educations in comparison with the ones who did not. Furthermore, the people who enjoy their job are more capable of becoming successful due to their high motivation to reach higher levels.
Despite the fact that many with personal interest in their professions could achieve more significant outcomes, many other may not be satisfied with their jobs simply because of the lack of demand of that specific job title in their society. For instance, in my country, no longer is there a need for workers who calculate using Chortkeh, a device for mathematical calculations utilized by hand, since this process is currently done by computers and phones. Moreover, younger generation should keep in mind the circle of people with who they communicate, and could ask for their assistance on seeking a job or even use their experiences which could lead to a better performance in a similar job.
Overall, not only should one consider their own interests and passions, but also in order to decide more reasonably, they should have in mind the job vacancies where they reside, in order to have a greater chance of succeding in their career.
