Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

There are some people who do not like to change, this includes themselves as well as their surrounding. The main reason for not changing is people have comfort zones. However, change must be accepted as a positive development to avoid isolation and to survive.

Some individuals dislike to adapt new styles, as they have to come out from their comfort zones. In other words, when someone is used to do same actions for years, he becomes an expert with these, and does not need to put extra effort. As a result, some like to follow same practices without accepting or try something new. Last year, I went to Kataragama and cashew sellers still use procedure that they used two decade ago, as they like these and familiar with the procedures. This is one main reason why some men and women disregard changes.

Adapting is important because individuals must survive. To elaborate, everyday world changes and new culture, working methods and beliefs are being introduced to society. As a result, those who cannot transform will be left behind. For instance, around 20 species of birds have extinct around the world, as these types of birds could not evolve to the changing world. Hence, people all-living things must accept any changes and take actions to transform themselves accordingly, in order to survive.

To conclude, some do not accept new ways, as they do not like to move away from their comfortable living styles; however, change must be accepted as an advantage in order to survive. Some people dislike changes in their society and in their own lives and was thing to stay the same. Why people want to stay same? Is it positive?
