Most people believe that people should try different hobbies and new experiences from an early age, while others prefer to keep their lives stable and do the same things. From my point of view, both approaches have good and bad sides, and I will compare them in this essay.
In the first case, trying different things can be very useful. From childhood, some people choose many hobbies, such as dancing, drawing, playing football or learning languages. As a result, they can develop different skills and get experience in many areas. Moreover, trying new activities helps children understand what they like and what they are good at. This can help them choose a future job. However, this approach also has a disadvantage. If a person changes their hobbies too often, they may not have enough time to become really good at one activity. Therefore, they can know a little about many things but not have strong skills in one area.
In the second case, I think that stability can also be a good choice. When people focus on one activity, they can practise more and improve their skills step by step. If children do the same activity for several years, they have more chances to achieve good results. Nevertheless, there are some disadvantages. Many parents make their children go to activities that they do not like. Although children may continue for some time, they often stop doing them when they get the chance. Moreover, this can stop them from trying other things and finding what they really enjoy.
Looking at both sides of the argument, I prefer trying different things. In my point of view, trying many hobbies from childhood give people more skills and helps them understand themselves better. At the same time, when they find something they really like, they should focus in it and improve their abilities. I believe this is the best way to find their interests and achieve success.
