Shopping is one of the most interesting ways to reduce the stress of modern living. However, some people buy unnecessary things and go into debt when they can not afford their own lifestyle. The purpose of this essay is to explain this action that causes people to experience “Fear of missing out” with new things that come up in their lives. This problem is difficult to solve since they can not recognize what is beneficial for them.
The first problem that people face when products are being advertised is that there is a possibility of what we commonly call the “fear of missing out” . This term means that you will feel left out of the others when they experience that particular product, moment, or event. A good example of this product is when you buy gadgets, specifically those that are limited in numbers or something relatively new. The “Nintendo Switch 2” is a prime instance where products are advertised that if you do not buy this product and play games on that gaming console, you will feel you do not belong to that particular group.
The second problem that we will discuss is how to solve this behaviour, it is when people are crazy about something new for chasing trends like fashions, gadgets, trendy things on social media. However, they know that these items can be useful or unnecessary for them, and when they get them, it makes them feel better as well when they want their prestige to be elevated. A good case for this is when you show off some luxury products. By purchasing luxury goods, individuals can effortlessly draw attention both from those around them and across social media platforms, often using such items as a means to showcase their wealth and flaunt their financial success.
