People have different views about the focus of government expenditures. While I agree that government should give priority to health care, I also support the view that it is also important for government to pay attention to other priorities.
On the one hand, the government should attach importance to health care. Health care is important because it concerns everyone’s life and health. When we are sick or injured, medical insurance can provide us with necessary medical services and treatment to ensure that we receive timely and effective treatment, which could reduce our pain caused by illness. For instance, when ordinary people in relative poverty are sick, they will pay less money for advanced treatment which can provide them with timely treatment.
On the other hand, there, are also other priorities which the government needs to pay attention to. Firstly, education is of significance since it can promote economic growth. Well-educated individuals can promote the development of high and new technology, thus promote the economic growth. In addition, it is also important for government to pay attention to the environment protection. because environment is the cornerstone of our survival and it affects our health and well-being.
In conclusion, I believe that the government should attach importance to both health care and other priorities.
