Advertising is everywhere- in TV, the internet, streets, and even phones. Some people believe that it makes us buy things we don’t really need. I agree with this some extent.
Firstly, companies use smart tricks to attract customers. They show happy people using their products, which makes us think that we will be happy top if we buy them. This affects our thinking, especially for children and teenagers. For example, many kids want the latest toys or clothes after watching ads, even if they already have enough.
Secondly, advertisements are made to create a need. They aften say things like “limited offer” or “buy now,” which makes people feel like they will miss something if they don’t buy it. This pressure can lead to wasteful shopping.
However, not all advertisement is bad. Sometimes, it helps us learn about new and useful products. For example, if someone need a phone or washing machine, ad can give information about different options, prices and features.
To sum up, while advertisement can be helpful in some cases, I believe it mostly encourages people to buy more than they need. It is important for people to think carefully before spending money and not get influenced too much by ads.
