Some individuals believe that this period is the most ideal time throughout history to be living. I am of the view that the existence of technology brings us into the most appropriate time due to some benefits such as internet and abundant resources, making it accessible to come up with new ideas. I will elaborate on why this is the case and mention another interesting time in history to live in this essay.
One major reason of this phenomenon is the existence of technology. I believe that technology is the latest fascinating invention compared to decades ago, bringing a revolution to people’s lives. This is exemplified by the internet which supports every aspect of life including education, health care, commerce, and more. For example, more and more people come up with new ideas such as E-commerce, E-rapport, making work more convenient. Moreover, technology not only provides easy access but also abundant resources people can come across. For instance, in the past, learning new skills was challenging due to limited resources, access and tools, but now, people can easily find information on the internet. Therefore, it seems to me that this era is much more suitable time to be living considering the benefits.
Another interesting time to live, based on history, would be the past before the invention of modern technology. Because more and more people nowadays are becoming addicted using technology. Today, people tend to rely on it for their needs. Consequently, many individuals today are much more likely to feel discouraged easily when their expectations do not align to what they expected. In contrast, people in the past tended to struggle because of restricted resources, making them much stronger not only physically but also mentally. Furthermore, finding a job was easier before technology replaced many roles with robots, making it harder for people to find employment. Thus, I believe that living in the past before modern technology was invented would also be convenient.
In conclusion, it seems to me that recent years is the most ideal time to be living because of technology invention such as internet makes people’s life easier. Another interesting time to live would be before the influence of technology, considering the benefits individuals experienced.
