Some people believe that the main environmental problem of our time is the loss of particular species of plants and animals. Others say that there are more important environmental problems.
There is a growing debate about today’s environmental hazards: whether deficient numbers of plants and animals or some other things are responsible.
With rapid expansion of pollution, the issue of environmental problems has gained increasing attention. Due to global warming, these days, the ozone layer is degrading, which would become a source of over-temperature. In return, it damages particular plant species and microorganisms. One reason why plants should not be damaged is that they will only replenish our environment in the future with oxygen and reduce global warming. The same applies to animals; species should be stabilized because they maintain the food web and food chain of the ecosystem. For example, an area without a predator of its prey can result in a shoot-up in the number of prey, like wolves without tigers, which can be a serious threat to the nearby population.
Despite these arguments, others believe that environmental problems are due to other factors like factories and infectious smoke from vehicles. Automobiles and industries might be disastrous for the environment, putting it in trouble. With the passage of time, it is becoming the reason for bronchial cancer and skin allergies due to numerous toxins like lead and cadmium, etc.
In my honest opinion, the shortage of particular plant and animal species is the main theme of concern because their growth can put our biosphere free of problems. If this happens, then recovery is only possible by plantation. In conclusion, there are strong arguments on both sides; however, growing plants and looking after animals is the last and productive solution to environmental hazards. Thus, it is important to consider carefully both reasons. It is essential to reduce pollution and improve transparent air for a healthy lifestyle.
