There is widespread belief that getting training for a foreign dialect is only for the purpose of visting new places and migrating to other countries. While, some people argue that apart from these two purposes there are many additional benefits for speaking multiple languages brings. In my opinion, I agree, with the first view because getting training for multiple languages can improve economic growth as well as it helps us to handle potential challenges.
Firstly, while seeking job abroad it is necessary for a candidate to be able to speak atleast more than one language to apply for various positions. Furthermore, even the recruiter prefers the candidate who is mutlilingual in nature. Being multilingual significantly impacts on job benefits both locally and internationally. For example, I am currently learning japanese to work as a software engineer in japan where salaries are tend to be higher than my home country, India. Thus, this will also benefit me financially.
Secondly, when we are travelling to new cities or countries it is pivotal to speak and understand there native language because this can help us to avoid any language barrier with the local residents. Moreover, it also helps us to navigate potential challenges. For instance, when travelling with your family, sometime there are possibilities of wandering across the streets; albeit, if you know the native language of the city you can easily reunite with your family.
To conclude, I believe that the main reason for speaking foreign dialects are to get better job position in a company and to able to travel to different cities and countries.
