Some people argue that the main purpose of acquiring a foriegn language is essential for traveling to or working in another country while others believed that there are many other reason understand a foriegn language. In this essey, i will discuss both perspectives and present my own viewpoint.
It is understable why people purposes to study foriegn language are for international travel and for oversea working. In addition, poeple can travel all around the world without knowing even one word of their destination language by gadgets which can interpret simultaneously with speaking. Also job seekers and experts who want to work in a developed country must be bilingual to find a suitable position. Another reason is working in a foreign country. In recent years, globalization has opened up the possibility to work overseas in various countries, expanding significant career oppotunities for non-residents.
On the other hand speaking another language is vital for making a relationship and join the amateur of expert groups of discussion. Moreover, exposure to another language provides additional advanteges for learning about the culture through the native language of that country and develops a more open-minded perspective on many people. I completely believe that, when someone is bilingual or learner of another language, actually their thinking changes, thinking become more openminded.
To conclude, being bilingual or multilingual is a superiority for everybody. I believe communication to learn greater aim of learning foriegn language.
