Some people believe that travelling provides more knowledge than studying at school or university. I agree with this opinion because travelling offers a wealth of useful information and insights.
There are several advantages to travelling. For example, when you travel, you learn about different traditions and cultures. You can visit historical places, try traditional food and see how people live in different parts of the world. This helps you understand other cultures better. Additionally, travelling improves your communication skills because you have conversations with different people. As a result, people can become more friendly, confident and open-minded. They also learn to respect different opinions and ways of life.
On the other hand, travelling also makes you more confident and independent because you learn how to solve problems and make decisions by yourself. If you travel to different countries, you will have more opportunities to practise foreign languages. For instance, you can use your English skills to communicate with local people and understand them better. You can even share your knowledge and teach others. Consequently, you learn to trust your abilities and become more confident in different situations, which supports my viewpoint.
In conclusion, I would say travelling is one of the most effective ways to study and broaden your intellect. Although schools and universities provide important information, travelling gives us real-life experience. It teaches us valuable lessons that cannot always be learned from books.
