It is considered by some that what offspring view on television alters their attitudes, whilst others disagree and contend that the investment of time that youngsters engage in watching screen impacts their mannerisms. From my point of view, devoting too much to seeing media exerts more undesirable impacts on offspring. This essay discusses content matters and time matters
On the one hand, the diversity of contents in the media affects the actions of youngsters on both desirable and undesirable sides. To put it another way, tuning into violent programs may lead to aggressive behaviors, while appropriate or educational contents foster a beneficial development, favorable thinking skills, and valuable skills such as problem-solving skills, time management skills, creativity, or leadership. For example, according to researches related to children’s attitudes, studies suggest that exposure to inappropriate contents can negatively shape offspring’s responses, regardless of screen time.
When it comes to time matters, the fact that offsprings spend excessive time in front of screens might exert detrimental effects on their mannerisms. In other words, devoting to viewing media can cause issues like lack of physical activities, poor academic performance, and as a result, juveniles may communicate less with their families, neglect their studies, and confront with health problems such as obesity, eye issues. For example, some studies suggest that the fact that adolescents engage too much in observing might suffer from more health issues than other adolescents. From my personal perspective, even if the contents is appropriate or inappropriate, excessive screen time can still harm children’s physical and mental well-being.
In conclusion, juveniles are affected by both content matters and time matters. I contend that excessive screen time still exerts adverse ramifications on children.
