In recent years, many firms have let employees work from home as it has many benefits for employee and the company. Despite the arguments to the contrary, I agree that this has many benefits between employee and companies. In the following essay, I will outline the reasons for my view.
First of all, working from home can reduce commute time. Rather than get up early and drive a long distance to the workplace, employees can rest more and have more energy to work. This is because they doesn’t need a long time commute as driving also need to focus on the road, which means when employees go to workplace, they already lose some energy to work.
In addition to this, working at home, which is a space you are familiar and comfortable, can also boost employees efficiently. When employees use their own computer in their room, they can pick up things much quicker as they are so familiar how to use their own things and comfortable in the environment.
Last but not least, work from home can reduce company expenses like water and sewage or electricity fee. Although some employees may need to get back to office for conference or meeting, not all the employees need to go back there. As a result, the fee in the office can be reduced significantly. The company also does not need to rent or buy a big office to hold so a great number of people, as they are working from home. This can help to reduce many unnecessary expenses and use them into other places.
In conclusion, I agree that working from home has many benefits for employees and companies. Therefore, I recommend employers implement these measures at the earliest opportunity.
