The majority of people commonly in their career paths face with the dilemma of seeking advice from their family members and friends or pursuit to opt a lifework autonomously. This essay will emphasise both two aspects, why is better to keep own point of view, but also will consider advice from other public.
At the first option, focusing on own preferences and priorities generally helps to build clear direction to the right career. In fact, no one knows our strengths weaknesses better than us. For example, selected work by parents or friends may be not familiar to us, as parents want to see us as an doctor or lawyer, however in depth of our heart we want to be a painter. Moreover, if humans choose a job based on their ambitions and goals, it will be the key factor to be a professional on their workplace, which helps to reach summits.
However, some individuals consider that being supported by families or close ones is profitable to achieve the highest accomplishment to opting a work way.Since they may have wide range of experiences during their lifetime. They believe that parents will never guide their children wrong. For example, young adults addicted to be in a shadow of their parents and that’s why sometimes it is the best way for them to seek an advice from parents.
It is clearly evident from the aforementioned points that career decisions should be a matter of personal choice. Hence, in my opinion, it is all right to consult our parents, but the final decision should always be taken by us.
