Nowadays, some people choose their career with the help of those close to them, while others choose it without consulting anyone. In my opinion, this is a personal decision, but simple advice from family or friends can be helpful. However, this essay will explain why it is a personal decision and no one should interfere with it.
On the one hand, consulting many people can be confusing and sometimes leads to the wrong choice. It is not possible to ask for help from people working in different jobs because each of them will advise you based on their own work, which can cause confusion. For example, my best friend’s parents are doctors. They all shared their life experiences and advised him to choose a major in medicine, while my best friend loves mathematics and physics, which have nothing to do with medicine.
On the other hand, choosing a career is the most important decision for a person’s future. Therefore, focusing on the person’s skills and ideas is what determines their career. People who have their own opinions are usually more successful in life. For example, many parents in Lebanon try to convince their children to work in the same field, but after a period of time, the children fail to succeed in their parents’ work.
In conclusion, other people cannot fully understand your thoughts and views about a profession. To select a field of work wisely, you should listen to your heart and brain,This will lead to success in your future life.
