Band 6+: Some people think children have the freedom to make mistakes, while other people believe that adults should prevent children from making mistakes. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In this contemporary epoch, while some opponents believe that adolescents should be given the freedom to commit mistakes, proponents are convinced that custodians ought to prevent their infants from making mistakes. As a result, I argue with the former point of view because the merits of experiencing new things and making mistakes in the childhood period outweigh many demerits, and these initiatives helps them to tackle their problems in the long run.

On the one hand, making mistakes can have detrimental impacts on a child’s wellbeing. To illustrate, if parents grant their dependents the choice to do anything without directing properly, this sometimes negatively affects them and can be harmful. For example, the number of injured minors are expanding in Egypt because they are left freely without enough nurturing in the public streets which can exposure them to injures by dealing with a lot of hazardous situations. Therefore, breadwinners should monitor their future generations in order to safeguarding their sons and daughters from the external danger

On the other hand, rearing future generations by error and trial helps them to learn dozens of lessons and it strengthens their ability in problem solving. In other words, when parents leave their children in their own freedom, this teaches them how to take the suitable decisions to mitigate their issues. A conducted study at Cairo University emphasizes that leaving millennials totally free makes them collect experiences which mange them to deal with the same diificult situations correctly. Moreover, learning from mistakes during childhood span helps to avoid them in the future and encounter any challenge in a proper way depending on past experiences and problems.

In conclusion, after this essay has manifested the above-mentioned points, what can be said is that caretakers should let their infants to err because this has a lot of benevolent effects on them. I reiterate that leaving infants to depend on themselves without any limits will raise the spirt of inquiry and critical thinking in solving issues
