The main reason I oppose seniority-based promotion is some individuals think that companies should not worry about how their staff dress, but focus on their quality of their work. I strongly agree that bosses should not care about what workers wear. This is because only through job performance comes success not from following dress code. Moreover freedom of dress can increase comfort and productivity.
The main reason why employers should not care about employees wear is that the quality of their work is a far more important measure of their contribution to a company. This is because job performance directly affects a company’s performance, whereas clothing has much little impact on the results. As a result workers are more likely to achieve their goals and improve productivity.
Another point why I agree is that flexible dress code can make staff feel comfortable and work more efficiently. This is because employees who allowed to wear comfortable clothing often feel more relaxed at work and can concentrate better on their tasks. As a consequence, they may become more efficient and productive. For example, companies such as google with flexible dress code report high levels of employee satisfaction and performance.
In conclusion, I strongly agree that companies should not focus on how workers dress. This is because job performance is a more reliable indicator of an employee’s value than appearance, and flexible dress codes can improve performance and comfort.
