Several individuals believed that it should be prioritise to spend money on motorways rather than rail system. while, I strongly agree with this viewpoint because of having traffic congestion and majority of accident are occurs due to irregular roads.
One primarily reason of spending funds on roads is because of rising traffic congestion. By constructing wider roads in urban areas can ultimately reduce this issue so that employees and students who travel daily can save their time and reach early. For instance, In the recent new it was highlighted that in Delhi the traffic congestion last for more than 3 hours. Consequently, it affects individuals and make them feel anxious during traffic conflicts. On the other hand, proper maintaining motorways is very essential to prevents collapses during natural disasters. For example, China has built their road in such a way that can even withstand during earthquakes and cyclones.
Another significant benefit is that it causes less road accidents. To elaborate, by constructing separate lanes for bikes and cars can limit the accidents on highways.
